Hi! I am Cara Carper. I grew up in Riverton, Wyoming, nestled at the foot of the Wind River Mountain Range. Ranching and rodeo are the backbone of my character. Growing up I witnessed firsthand through my family’s lifestyle how important agriculture is. I’ve built on this passion through showing animals in 4H and FFA, competing in reigning horse competitions, judging livestock, and studying the agriculture industry through college. I wouldn’t have it any other way!
I love giving new breath to agriculture through writing features and capturing unique moments through photography. I am finishing my degree in Agriculture Communication with a minor in Ag Business at The University of Wyoming. After graduation in May, I plan to work within the agriculture/rodeo industry, captivating others’ stories through journalism and broadcasting to advocate for my ever growing ag passion.
